Roadmaps are easy.
Shipping is the work.

Festivex Limited is a software company in Nicosia, Cyprus. We design, build and look after web platforms, mobile applications and the plumbing underneath them — for founders who need a first release, and for teams whose release keeps slipping.

  • 3Core practices, one team
  • EETEU business hours, Cyprus
  • 2 wksBetween working increments

Three practices that only make sense together

Advice nobody can build is a slide deck. Code nobody advised on becomes next year's rewrite. We keep consulting, engineering and mobile in one team, so the recommendation and the release come from the same people.

Software Development

Custom web platforms, internal tools and back-office systems — from an empty repository to something your team runs on daily. Typed end to end, tested where it matters, and documented enough that we never become a dependency.

  • Web applications and customer portals
  • APIs, integrations and data pipelines
  • Legacy modernisation and rescue work

Mobile Application Development

iOS and Android products people keep on the home screen. Native where the platform rewards it, cross-platform where it pays for itself — and we tell you which one your product is before a line is written.

  • Swift, Kotlin, React Native, Flutter
  • Offline-first sync and push architecture
  • Store submission, review and release trains

IT Consulting Services

Architecture reviews, technical due diligence and delivery triage. You get a written assessment with the trade-offs spelled out and a sequence of moves — not a vendor shortlist we happen to benefit from.

  • Architecture and code review
  • Technical due diligence for investors
  • Delivery process and team structure

Cloud & DevOps

Infrastructure as code, pipelines that deploy on merge, and monitoring that pages a human before a customer does. Set up once, handed over with the runbook.

Maintenance & Support

Dependency upgrades, security patches, incident response and the small feature work that keeps a product from ageing out. Monthly retainer, clear response windows.

Discovery Sprints

Two to three weeks to turn a fuzzy idea into a scoped build: user flows, a clickable prototype, an architecture sketch and a cost range you can take to a board.

How an engagement actually runs

No discovery phase that quietly becomes the project. Four steps — and you can stop after any one of them with something usable in hand.

  1. 01

    Scoping call

Forty-five minutes on what you are trying to launch, what already exists and what the real deadline is. You leave with an honest read on feasibility — free, whether or not we end up working together.

  2. 02

    Blueprint

A short written plan: scope broken into increments, the architecture we would pick and why, the risks we can already see, and a fixed price for increment one. Yours to keep.

  3. 03

    Build in two-week increments

Every fortnight ends with something running on a staging URL you can click, plus a plain note on what moved and what got harder. Scope changes are re-priced openly, never absorbed in silence.

  4. 04

    Launch and look after

Release, monitoring, and a handover pack your own developers can work from. After that we either step back or stay on a support retainer — your call, not a contractual default.

Estimates in ranges, not wishes

A range with its assumptions written underneath is worth more than a confident single number that moves every sprint.

You own everything

Repositories, cloud accounts, domains and credentials are in your name from day one. Leaving us should be boring.

One team, one thread

The engineer who wrote it answers the question about it. No account layer translating between you and the code.

Boring technology on purpose

We pick tools with long support windows and a real hiring pool, so your product outlives the framework fashion cycle.

Chosen for your problem, not our comfort

We work across a deliberately narrow set of mature tools. Narrow means we actually know their failure modes — and it keeps your product hireable-for by whoever comes next.

The questions that come up on every first call

From a two-week discovery sprint to a multi-quarter platform build. Below roughly two weeks of work we will usually say it is not worth the onboarding cost and point you somewhere better — that answer is free, and it saves both sides a month.

Yes. We are registered and based in Nicosia and work in EET, which overlaps comfortably with the rest of Europe, the UK, the Gulf and the East Coast morning. Most engagements run remotely, with a visit or two when it genuinely helps.

Fixed price per increment. We scope one two-week increment at a time, quote it, and you decide before each one whether to continue. You are never locked into a twelve-month number that was guessed in month zero.

Often — it is a good part of what we do. We start with a paid code and infrastructure review, usually a week, and then say plainly whether the right move is to continue the codebase, refactor it in place, or start again. Sometimes the honest answer is the expensive one.

You do, from the first commit. Repositories, cloud accounts, app store entries and domains are created in your organisation and we work as members of it. Handover is a permissions change, not a migration project.

A scoping call within a few days, and typically two to four weeks to the start of an increment, depending on current capacity. If we cannot fit you into a sensible timeframe we say so on the first call instead of holding a slot open.

Tell us what you are building

A short description of the product, the deadline and what already exists is enough to start. We reply within one business day, with a real answer rather than a calendar link into the void.
